The poll is closed, the votes are tallied and the people have spoken!

Northwest Folklife and Full Tilt Ice Cream are proud to present Clusters of Folk as the 2010 Folklife flavor.

With an overwhelming 49.7% of the votes, the creamy blend of horchata ice cream with clusters of granola and chunks of chocolate will be sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Mark your calendar for October 9th from 12-2PM for the Clusters of Folk Flavor Release Party at Full Tilt Ice Cream in White Center.

Bring your friends, bring your family and bring your appetite! We have a fun-filled musical afternoon planned, starting at noon with the Not-Its! followed by Caulfield and his Magical Violin from 1-2 p.m. 

What could be better on a crisp fall afternoon than great music with good friends and delicious ice cream?

Also, don’t forget 10% of all Clusters of Folk ice cream sold between October 9th and November 14th comes back to Folklife!

Vote for your favorite Northwest Folklife inspired ice cream made by Full Tilt, today!

We’ve collected all the suggestions and now it’s time to vote for your favorite flavor and name below.  Then, taste the winning flavor at all Full Tilt Ice Cream locations October 9- November 16.

Don’t miss the Flavor Release Party on Saturday, October 9th from 12- 2 pm at the Full Tilt White Center location. Bring the family and indulge in ice cream, enjoy live music and support Northwest Folklife, all at the same time!  Starting at noon, prepare to rock out with The Not-Its! and guests.

Folklife and Full Tilt will also host A Night for Folklife benefit on Saturday, November 6th from 9-11 pm at the Columbia City location. This killer combo of live music and ice cream will feature The Horde and The Harem from 9-10 pm and Ravenna Woods from 10-11 pm. 

Thanks to Full Tilt, 10 percent of all the Folklife flavored ice cream sold benefits Northwest Folklife- so eat ice cream, listen to music and be merry!

Full Tilt Ice CreamNorthwest Folklife is proud to partner with Full Tilt Ice Cream this October and November to bring you a cool treat that’s sure to bring back the summer sun. Start brainstorming now because the details of this ice cream are up to you!

Send us your idea for Folklife’s 40th anniversary ice cream flavor and name by Friday, September 3, 2010.  Then, during the week of September 6th we will post the most popular suggestions on our blog for people to vote and pick a winner.

The winning folk-inspired ice cream flavor and name will be featured in all Full Tilt Ice Cream locations starting Saturday, October 9th at our Flavor Release Party. We’ll kick-off the event at the White Center Full Tilt location from 12- 2pm.

The Folklife ice cream will also be featured at an A Night for Folklife event at the Columbia City Full Tilt from 9-11 pm on Saturday, November 6, 2010. During this A Night for Folklife party people can come to celebrate Folklife, listen to live music and enjoy their tasty ice-cream! The Folklife flavored ice cream will stay in stores until November 16, 2010.

So why not head to one of the three Full Tilt locations and get inspired?
