Northwest Folklife has morphed its annual November auction into a new February gala! We’ve planned a festive evening that begins with a silent auction featuring exciting new items mixed in with some of your old favorites. Enjoy light libations and heavy hors d’oeuvres from Foodz Catering while you study the possibilities. Then join us for performances by some of Folklife’s amazing performers–Gene Tagaban, Rhythms of India, Reilly & Maloney and Pastor Patrinell Wright and the Total Experience Gospel Choir!

I’m thinking that you pretty much can’t go wrong with attending the Seattle International Cabaret Festival. Music, poetry, burlesque and dance all draw on the rich history of cabaret to provide a week-long feast for the eyes and ears.
Besides national acts like The Tiger Lilies, the line-up includes local favorites like Circus Contraption Band, The Vagabond Opera, and Waxie Moon. Several outstanding acts have also performed at Folklife: Baby Gramps, Danbert Nobacon, Miss Mamie Lavona, Orkestar Zirkonium and The Bad Things.
November 10-15th, various locations.
