There’s a new folkie blog on the block.

It’s the Hearth Music blog and it’s off to a great start.

Some of you may know Devon Léger, our former Assistant Director of Programs.  While we’re sad that we don’t get to see his face around the Folklife offices anymore, we’re pretty happy to see his new endeavor take off.  Hearth Music presents traditional artists from around the Pacific Northwest and beyond, like The Water Tower Bucket Boys and Les Amis Créole.
The blog features posts about the wide world of folk, like this one about the darker side of folk.
